Derby Minibus Hire is a family run business based in Derby, established in 1990 by Dave Mansfield.

Vehicles

 

We have a variety of coaches ranging in size from 16 seaters to 51 seaters.   Whatever the size of your group or the distance you wish to travel we have right coach (or coaches) for you.  Vehicles are maintained to the highest standards in accordance with the requirements of VOSA (Vehicle and Operator Services Agency) to ensure that they remain safe, reliable, clean and presentable.

We strictly adhere to the driving hours and Tachograph Rules for commercial drivers; therefore on long distance travel we always use the services of two drivers.

 

All our buses are fitted with seat belts and our larger coaches benefit from having on-board television/DVD, hot beverage and toilet facilities.  Some coaches benefit from air-conditioning.

 

The vehicles are stored in a secure operations centre and maintained daily prior to commencement of travel.  Please feel free to inspect our vehicles prior to booking.

 

 

Drivers

 

Our drivers are highly experienced in all aspects of their work and are committed to providing their passengers with the highest standards of safety, quality, comfort and care.

 

Our drivers are friendly, reliable and hold the necessary license requirements set out by the Vehicle Inspectorate.   All our drivers are enhanced CRB checked.  Our drivers will ensure that your travel is stress-free and assist with the storage of pushchairs, wheelchairs, suitcases etc.

 

The team is lead by Dave Mansfield and assisted by son David Mansfield Jnr.  David Jnr holds the qualification CPC and is the company’s Transport Manager.  Other drivers have been with the company for a number of years and we work closely with other Coach Operators in Derby/Derbyshire.
